I have a passion for architecture and capturing the beauty of a building both inside and out. I appreciate the details and intricacies of every building.
Buildings are designed not only for practicality, they are designed for a purpose, to be used, to be enjoyed and to be beautiful and inspiring. It is amazing to see and capture the visions and designs of the architects and interior architects.
Every building, every room, every thing has a story. The shapes, lines, textures and shadows hold the secrets and the stories of buildings. Architects design beautiful buildings to serve a purpose and to create a space where people want to be.
When you spend time to really look at a building and appreciate the detail of the buildings is the start of the conversation to find out the story of the building. And as with any piece of art, the viewer can form their own interpretation and story.
It is so important how a building creates space and influence the feeling of the area where the building is located. A building has an everlasting presence, buildings stand tall and can be seen from far away. The influence skylines for decades to come. There are so many factors to take into consideration when a building is being designed, and I have an immense respect for Architects. They shape our cities, and the way that the world and people perceive the city.
“Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space… On the one hand it’s about shelter, but it is also about pleasure.”
