A Splash of Colour: Razzl Cooldrinks

Bright colours, ice-cold bottles and plenty of fizz formed the visual language for this Razzl cooldrink product shoot, created for 8Global.
The process began with clean, carefully lit product photographs of the individual bottles and the complete flavour range. These straightforward images provided a clear view of the packaging, labels and colours before the shoot moved into something more playful and experimental.

The creative images were built around the character of the different flavours. Fresh lemons and grapefruit reinforced the citrus varieties, while crushed ice, chilled bottles and droplets of condensation created an immediate feeling of refreshment. Group arrangements brought the colours together, allowing the red, yellow, green and deep cola tones to work as a bold visual collection.
Lighting played an important role in separating the drinks and bottles from their backgrounds. Brighter, high-key setups created clean and cheerful product images, while darker scenes and strong backlighting gave the bottles a more dramatic presence. Light passing through the liquids revealed their colour and translucency, while reflections, shadows and beads of water added texture.
Pouring and splash shots introduced movement into the series. These required careful timing to capture the drink as it entered the glass, ice shifted and droplets escaped into the air. The water-splash images brought a sense of energy and coolness, contrasting the stillness of traditional product photography with a brief moment of controlled chaos.
The final collection moves between practical catalogue photographs and more expressive advertising-style images. Each setup keeps the Razzl packaging recognisable while giving the range a bright, refreshing personality—colourful, lively and ready to be enjoyed.
